Universal solution is here"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do you also have one of new Sonoff DOUT devices?<\/p>\n<p>OTA on these devices normally fails as most of available bin files do not support DOUT flash mode.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the solution of your problem&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>For initial flash over serial I use FLASH_DOWNLOAD_TOOLS_V3.6.2.2<br \/>\nThis tool has option &#8220;DoNotChgBin&#8221;, normally not selected&#8230; and it shall stay not selected.<\/p>\n<p>If you flash some bin file, this tool changes original bin file, dependent on chosen options QIO&#8230; DOUT etc.<br \/>\nIf DOUT is selected it will write changed bin file to it&#8217;s temp &#8220;_temp_by_dltool\\downloadPanel1&#8221; directory,<br \/>\nthere where the original bin file is, with the same name, and new extension .bin_rep<\/p>\n<p>That new bin file is then DOUT mode compatible \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>This way probably any bin file can be converted to DOUT compatible bin file.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/applauz.de\/esp\/ESPEasyUploaderMega_1024_dout.bin\">Here<\/a>\u00a0 you can download DOUT version of well known\u00a0 ESP Easy Uploader tool ESPEasyUploaderMega_1024.bin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you also have one of new Sonoff DOUT devices?
